I’m Martha Mabe, an artist, instructor, and the founder of Martha’s Fine Arts & Creations. For more than six years, I’ve been creating original artworks in both oil and watercolor while helping others discover the joy of painting through classes, workshops, and creative experiences across the Carolinas.

My work has grown from traditional impressionism into a style that blends expressive watercolor with loose, impressionistic techniques inspired by nature, gardens, and the changing seasons. Whether I'm painting florals, landscapes, or commissioned pieces, I'm drawn to capturing beauty in a way that feels fresh, inviting, and full of life.

Teaching has become one of the most rewarding parts of my journey. I lead beginner and intermediate watercolor workshops, private lessons, community programs, and seasonal events, creating welcoming spaces where students can build confidence and enjoy the creative process. I also teach ongoing watercolor classes at The Blue Goose, where I have the privilege of introducing new artists to the medium while encouraging experienced painters to continue growing.

In recent years, I created the Mindful Moments Watercolor Journey, a collection of faith-inspired watercolor devotionals that combine painting, reflection, and creativity. This collection reflects my belief that art can be both enjoyable and meaningful, offering opportunities to slow down, create, and find inspiration in everyday moments.

My paintings have been recognized in regional exhibitions and are included in private collections throughout the Southeast, including Hilton Head and Charleston. Whether I'm creating artwork for collectors or guiding students through their first watercolor painting, my goal is the same—to encourage creativity, share what I've learned, and help others discover the satisfaction that comes from making art.
